West Yorks firm supports lorry operator

A West Yorkshire recruitment firm is providing the drivers needed by a South Yorkshire-based haulier.

Ken Mallinson Transport of Barnsley has hired Drivers Plus to supply HGV drivers.

Drivers Plus, based in Bradford, specialises in the placement of HGV class 1 and class 2 drivers throughout the north of England.

Drivers Plus director Richard Oldfield said: “The appointment means we will now be providing the company with up to 20 highly experienced drivers per week in order to ensure it fulfils its delivery contracts.”

Drivers Plus was established in 2003. The deal with Ken Mallinson Transport is described as being worth a “six-figure sum”.
