HGV Class 1 Days

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Day Driver
Rate: £15.17ph - £17.50ph | Curtain Sider | PAYE)

At Drivers Plus, we are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers with experience with Curtain Sider vehicles, who are willing to work based in the Sheffield area. Start times will be between 05:00 – 06:00. Shifts last around 12 hours.

What you’ll be doing as an HGV Class 1 Driver:

· Curtain Sider Trunking on days with around 1 - 3 drops.

. Trunking to various Retailers and Supermarkets.

· Trailer Swaps, mainly distance runs.

· On days, occasionally you will have to unload pallets. You’re required to strap your load, and curtains are required.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for experienced Class 1 Day Drivers who have experience with Curtain Sider experience. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their license for the last 6 months. It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.

· A valid CE License, CPC card and Driver card.

· No more than 6 points on your license.

· A reference from a previous employer to cover the last 2 years.
