HGV Class 1 Day Drivers
Rate £14.28ph - £18ph |Curtain Sider | PAYE)

Drivers Plus is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers with experience in driving a curtain sider. You will be working out of Batley. Start times will be at 05:00 – 07:00. Shifts last around 8 - 12 hours.

What you’ll be doing as an HGV Class 1 Day Driver:

. The company operate between Monday – Friday. Weekends are also available.

· Delivering Biscuits to Warehouses

. Delivering to their Warehouses and DHL sites.

· You’ll be driving a Curtain-sider vehicle, double-decker vehicle. No handball required. You will be required to secure your load and strap the curtains.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers who has experience driving Curtain Sider. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their license for the last 6 months. It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety. For this role it can be a physically demanding job.

· A valid CE License, CPC card and Driver card.

· No more than 6 points on your licence.

· A reference from a previous employer to cover the last 2 years.
