HGV Class 1 Day Driver
£15.61ph - £17.50ph |Curtain Sider | PAYE)
Drivers Plus is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver who is willing to do odd nights out and has experience driving Curtain Sider vehicles. You will be working out of Normanton (WF6) for our client, who’s been in the industry for over 50 years. Start times will be between 06:00 – 07:00. Shifts last around 10 hours.
What you’ll be doing as a HGV Class 1 Day Driver:
. The company operate between Monday – Friday.
. Delivering up to 4 full loads per shift.
. Delivering in Manchester or Hull.
. No handball required. All FLT offloading. You will be required to strap your curtains and pallets.
Benefits of working with our client as an HGV Class 1 Day Driver:
· Rate of Pay is £17.50ph on Class 1
. £27.50 per night out.
· Weekly pay.
· The option to be auto-enrolled into our pension scheme after 12 weeks of work.
· Only PAYE applicants accepted. No LTD/ Umbrella.
· We are flexible regarding work. If you’re looking for ongoing, part-time or temp-to-perm, we will aim to find what you’re looking for!
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Day Driver who has experience driving curtain-siders. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their licence for the last 6 months. It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.
· A valid CE Licence, CPC card and Driver card.
· No more than 6 points on your licence.
· A reference from a previous employer covering the last 2 years.
