HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Curtain Sider Trunking

£16.85 per hour PAYE | £19.00 per hour including holiday pay | Night Work | LS27

Drivers Plus are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to work for our client based in LS27.

This is a Monday–Friday role involving Curtain Sider trunking to Pallet hubs, with no handball required. This is a great opportunity for professional and reliable drivers looking for regular night work.

The Role

• £16.85 per hour PAYE


• £19.00 per hour including holiday pay


• Monday–Friday operation


• Shifts are approximately 10–12 hours


• Curtain Sider trunking


• Trunking to Pallet hubs


• No handball required


• Drivers are responsible for securing loads and operating curtains


• Flexible working patterns available

What We're Looking For

We are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Night Drivers who have:

• A minimum of 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience


• Experience operating Curtain Sider vehicles


• Experience with trunking work


• A valid HGV Class 1 / CE Licence


• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card


• No more than 6 points on your licence


• No DD, DG, DR, TT, CD or IN endorsements


• Good communication skills


• A strong commitment to timekeeping, health & safety and professional standards
