HGV Class 1 Days and Tramping

Job Description:

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Day Driver
Rate £15.63ph - £17.50ph | Curtain Sider | PAYE)

At Drivers Plus, we are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Day and trampers drivers with experience with Curtain Sider vehicles, who are willing to work based in the LS15 area. Start times will be between 05:00 – 07:00, lasting around 10 - 12 hours.

What you’ll be doing:

· Competitive rate of £17.50ph.

· Curtain Sider palletised multi-drop with 1 – 4 drops with potential collections.

· Trunking work, mainly distance runs.

· No Handball is required, all FLT offloaded. Strapping your load and curtains required.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for experienced Class 1 Day Drivers who have experience with Curtain Sider experience. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their license for the last 6 months. You must be a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.

· A valid CE License, CPC card and Driver card.

· No more than 6 points on your license.

· A reference from a previous employer to cover the last 2 years.
