Job Description:

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Day and Night Driver
Rate £15.17ph - £19ph | Curtain Sider | PAYE)

At Drivers Plus, we are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Day and Night drivers with experience with Curtain Sider vehicles, who are willing to work based in the BD12 area. Start times will be between 05:00 – 06:00 on days and 16:00 – 18:00 on Nights. Shifts last around 12 hours.

What you’ll be doing:

· Competitive rate of £17ph on Days.

· Competitive rate of £19ph on Nights.

· Curtain Sider Trunking on days with around 1 - 3 drops.

. On Nights, it’s 1 – 3 drops also.

· Trunking work, mainly distance runs.

· On days, occasionally you will have to unload pallets. On nights there isn’t handball. You’re required to strap your load, and curtains are required.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for experienced Class 1 Day and Night Drivers who have experience with Curtain Sider experience. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their license for the last 6 months. You must be a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.

· A valid CE License, CPC card and Driver card.

· No more than 6 points on your license.

· A reference from a previous employer to cover the last 2 years.
